She knows the importance of EasyLiving's high-quality services to clients' lives.
Karuna serves as a mentor and coach to the geriatric care management staff, while also helping to develop processes and training. She reviews documentation and does case reviews for continuous quality assurance. Her extensive experience navigating the healthcare and social services systems (particularly the VA) make her a great resource for other care managers.
Karuna has achieved the designation of Care Manager Certified (CMC) and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Karuna also completed advanced training in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders certified by the state of Florida.
Karuna was born in New York, but is practically a native Floridian, residing here since age five. She lives in St. Petersburg and has two young children. Karuna enjoys spending time with her family, especially outdoors, and gardening.
