Part of our dedication to our Care Partners is ensuring that you have the tools you need to stay safe and to provide the best care possible. Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE, is one of those tools.
PPE includes items like gloves, masks, and gowns. You can find the PPE required for your clients in their homes.
It is the client’s responsibility to provide the tools you need to complete your job successfully. This means your clients should have gloves readily available for you as well as items like a vacuum cleaner.
Contact our office when/if:
- You notice the gloves you use are running low
- You notice any PPE is running low
- The Care Plan lists PPE that is not available in the client’s home
- You are allergic to latex
Remember, using PPE keeps you and your client safe by reducing the chance of infection or disease.
