Alzheimer’s Specialty Care: Dementia Care Tips

Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s/dementia comes with special challenges.  The caregiving process develops in stages as the disease progresses, and requires a great deal of adaptability in the caregivers and family of the individual diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

EasyLiving provides Alzheimer’s Specialty Care to individuals in Pinellas and Pasco counties in Florida.  We train our caregivers on Alzheimer’s disease–what the disease is, what to expect and strategies for care.  We work together with our caregivers, both one-on-one, in training sessions and in care planning, to address special care concerns or behavioral issues of clients with dementia.  As a family caregiver, getting education and tips on dementia care can be invaluable to you, as can working with caregivers who have specialized knowledge and experience with dementia.

Using our expertise in Alzheimer’s Specialty Care, we have created a special eBook, “A Caregivers’ Guide to Dementia Care” in which we provide specific tips and strategies for dealing with some of the common issues caregivers face.
